What do u download music with?
 

the program i use has been down for a week, and doesn't look like going back up anytime soon.

what do you guys use that doesn't give u spyware (livewire, bearshare, etc)

There's a thing at the U of M called the Hub. Basically you sign up, wait a few days, then get access to everybodys music on campus that's connected to the Hub. I use that, and then another free program where I can take music from Ipods, so my music library expands by about 1000 each week.

WHOA! whats this program. my friends would love if i could take ---- to there house that would be tits as hell.

DC++ is good, soulseek would be ok if you could download off more than one user at once. ares has been down. everything else is so full of spyware it gives you aids

ABC 3.0.1

it's a bittorrent client, which i haven't seen listed. heres a quick how to.

download and install a bittorrent client. I've used a few, i really like ABC
so then if i'm looking for some cake songs, i just go to google and type:
"cake album torrent"
then i'll find a file like
".../cakefulcollection.zip.torrent"
and click the linik, select "open with ABC" and the program runs and starts downloading.

i just tried to use it i havent used it since i disconected my broadband connection. i just tried to use it. it will not connect to a server... so yea it went down like a ----- on crack.

winmx is down. they're changing servers, but they're going slow as ----.

im actually liking ares, i can actually connect to ppl. lately on winmx cuz of my router being shitty i could only connect to half the ppl.

oh and about bittorrent, i only use that for big files like episodes, movies, or games. i dont bother to dl whole albums either, since most of hte time i only like a few songs

damn winmx sucks balls i usta have that and so did a buddy i changed over to limewire and love it! i showed him the other day also and hes changed over since if anyone is using winmx plz change over to limewire its badass

I'm on a mac and i use cabos, it connects to 5 different servers. pretty good for porn and music, but doesn't have ---- for apps. bit torrent all the rest of the ----

i use bitlord....and go to torrentspy.com to d/l my shiet....not jus music...u can get full albums, movies, tv shows, PORN!~!!!!!!.... i stopped using bearshre, cuz some of the songs i be d/ling, DJ CLUE and Kay Slay be ------ it up...DESERT STORMs!!!!

bit comet, a bittorrent client, I don't really like this particular one, because it rapes my computer when its on, but I tried to dl a torrent with the original bittorrent once and the tracker said I needed a newer client so I got that

Go to Download.com and search for Ipod Liberator. It's free, but you can only rip 5 songs at a time. If you pay 15 bucks, you can upload unlimited songs. It's damn sweet.

Yup, same here. Works get, One day I burned a fll pack of 50 CDs for my cr because you can download full discographies!
