You sorely dissappoint me.

What I said is on point. If you swap a head or not, by your logic, head work at all is pointless. just turn up the boost......

Pay attention numb nuts. He's not disputing head work vs no head work. Its a shame I actually called tex out on calling you widebody because I'm starting to think he's right in his assumption.

YOU = Tex = Widebody

Head work? Depending on the goal of the car, maybe. Cam swap? Different story.

Examples. The record for a stock LS head on an 84mm sleeved block is 750 whp. Thing is, the 90-91 cams or any of the automatic cams in an LS head and some engines you can't break 300. LS + cams = omg wtf jdm bbq. It's all about picking the correct ---- for your desired intent. One of the local guys has a "stock" unported LS with bolt ons (and a cam nobody knows about) that makes 173 whp (more on a Dynojunk, it's a little more powerful than a stock ITR at peak, and has a WHOLE low more in the midrange) and it idles stock and everything. And this is a head people swap away from, running a cam milder than the ITR profile?

The 3rd gen prelude is pretty cool but the engine... gah.. Burns oil, sounds like a sewing machine, #3 rod bearing doesnt get any oil, and to top it off it has a 1.49-1.5 R/S ratio :8

Re: what to do with my crx

wow i didnt know that (r/s ratio :1 and oiling issues) but i was never a fan of h-series / h22 there is stuff can be done to make it "more" reliable but i dont see the point trannys suck unless you got too much money and can afford the H2B kit (allows to use b-series trans on h motor 1.5k$ O0) but the hell with the un-reliable pos!

Wait, you're going to trade a rex for a 1st gen lude?

Anything you say isn't worth ----.

I just finished reading the thread.

My opinion still stands.

Use a bulkhead fitting for the oil pan. If it's such a hurdle for you, i hope your balls meet it hard.

I dont know why you wouldn't have a spare pan already tapped and ready. Wtf?

Listen to you like you know what your talking about. That's far from a 1st gen prelude.

that guy is a ------- joke any ways, he does not know any thing, he drives a pos eclipse with a neon motor in it.
so he can suck a dick and the bulk head fitting is what i am going to use but i really just dont feel like working on it any more. i want something with ac and a paint job. and thats why i am not trading for that 2nd gen lude.
