emissions laws suck my fat cack, I'm glad I don't have to worry about them. and I know for a fact my car pollutes more than most CARS on the road, I don't know about suvs though. emissions laws suck because they're tight on cars and loose on suvs, so when driving my siblings to school in my civic I need to pollute less than some rich ------- cruising around by himself in his big truck? ---- that ----, most suv owners would do just fine with a smaller vehicle, they just like the safe feeling of having a car that would kill me in a collision while they don't feel much more than a bump.

Oh and banning SUV's, HA you need to worry about cars like mine, most SUV's get better gas mileage than me. My jag would average 7-12 mpg, 12 being on a good week. My car now gets, let's see 18 gallons, 230 miles, woot back to 12 mpg.

How can any of you be so gung-ho about either of these candidates?!
As much of the non-USA world did, I watched the presidential debates. Kerry was the better debater (or at least the more prepared one), and appealed to me as a centrist. But that didn't change the fact that the policy differences between the Democratic and Republican parties are almost non-existant, and that the interests of big business still dominate policy.
Are there specific issues that are more important to you guys, ones where there is a marked difference between Republicans and Democrats? What are you basing your votes on, with the exception of the personalities of the candidates?
