Re: what brand tools
pepboys has the 400 or so piece socket/wrench set with extensions alankeys.. lots of other ----.
i bought myself a good screw driver set from a company called long neck.. something like that.. the one with the girraf on it...
my sizeable wrench set it a crafts man. my air compressor is from harbor frieght.. as are all my air tools.
pep boys and harbor friend.
if you want to go cheaper.. check out used tools on ebay... and craigslist...
i bought a mac tools chest filled with mac tools that would prolly have cost anywhere near 7000 dollars niew.. for about 450 dollars...
i have a friend who's semi rich.. he buys all his tools fromt he sears craftman series... they are hella good. but overly priced too.. so no point in buying everything craftsm an/namebrand

Re: what brand tools
craftsman, don't buy ------- generic chinese ----, crafftsman tools are not expensive
I have a few snap on and mac tools, but I use the ---- out of them. If this is just for you rhome personal use then get craftsman, If you are a wrench, then you would know the answere, and wouldn't be asking here

Re: what brand tools
Cobalt tool set - mostly misplaced now
Ryobi chop saw - $40 at used tool store
Skil cordless- holding up good
Tool Shop angle grinder- chinese tool from Menards, but surprisingly holding up well.
Cheap screw driver sets- Anytime theres a sale.
Lincoln SP-135 mig- no complaints
Most of my sockets and ---- are lost or not organized well. I was thinking about pawning all the misc. sockets and ---- that I have and buying one bomb diggity set, but I haven't done it yet.
