West Coast Honda Challenge is a go!

West Coast Honda Challenge is a go!
Nasa has sanctioned the WCHC, and it will be running a full schedule this year. While it is still pretty much a California schedule, the Pac NW guys have been included in the one race that they usually travel to anyways at Thunderhill.
If we get enough people up here racing, I am sure that we can have a Pac NW Honda Challenge in the future. This series was created with a couple things in mind. Race Hondas, keep it low budget, and give the Hybrids a place to race. H1 class is for Hybrids, S2000s, and NSXs. One thing to think about though, and kind of a tough pill to swallow around here, no forced induction.
With all that, if you guys are interested, go to:
http://www.hondachallenge.com/home.html
Print out a copy of the rules and go from there. Maybe I will see you at the track.

Re:West Coast Honda Challenge is a go!
plus the car has to have a full cage, and lots of other goodies.. I am sure Jim is getting some big wood over this one
I would definatly participate, but I'm thinking my red car wouldnt pass the test...
turbo
no cage
jg intake manifold <- god damnit
I think it would just be fun to buy "another" yes another bone stock crx and enter it in what the h3? class? or 4. That would be fun.

Re:West Coast Honda Challenge is a go!
H5 is the SPOS class, which as you well know after the Spokane trip, can still open up some whupass with the right driver and setup.
H4=
88-91 Civic, CRX Si(1.6L)
92-present Civic (all 1.6L not otherwise classified)
DelSol (S, Si)
Integra (All 1.8L non-vtec)
Prelude (all pre 92)
H5=
All Civic/CRX (not otherwise classified)
1989 and previous Accord (all)
86-89 Integra (1.6L)
I think the H5 CRX DX or Integra would be pretty cool, the CRX DX race weight is 2175 and the Integra is 2500.
