my car was runnin real good, i havent put my drag radials on any wheels yet, so it was sweet 245/50/r16 street tires for me. launching off idle i lose traction through first and through second. but if i let off and got back on it real fast once i hit second i could hook sometimes.

i was running 7-6lbs, my best time was 8.33 @ ?? w/ 2.4 60 foot they didnt have mph times :1 which was lame. i hate to guess but i think i was goin about ~95-100mph. cause i was in 3rd gear at about 4k rpms and at 5k its 110mph.

i did the autocross a couple times which was pretty lame and pretty fun at the same time with the auto trans. i broke my seat the first drag run i did, in the same place. the stud pulled out of the floor again. then i went to the autocross and the whole seat bracket broke and i flew all over the inside of the car. it was lame LOL. i went all the way up onto the trans tunnel, then back down against the door, and i slammed my head on the window LOL. then i hammered the gas and the seat almost went back into the back seat area and i couldnt reach the pedals and barely the steering wheel LOL. you can see in the video where i lock up the front brakes is when the seat broke and i started to fly around LOL...

it was pretty fun... if i got a 1.9 60 foot i would be well into the 7s
and a little more boost (jeff thinks im dreaming) and some slicks i want to run a 6.9999999 :P

8.3's is slow. We were turning that on a stock LS swapped Civic with a 65 shot last summer.

did it burn off half way down the track? cause i did

id let off in 2nd and get back on it and still spin.

i got sideways at the 300ft mark

haha ya, they have the super drifto event too, some of them were pretty good at it most of them didnt have the ***** to spin the tires over w/o clutch drop/e brake pulls

i lit em up on the straight just floorin it in 2nd to start my "drift" LOL

I wanted to ride in the car with Johnny to get some in car vids, but he wasn't too hot for that idea

I would have been really freaked out if I was in the car when his seat broke, with him flying over to my side, into the door, into the back of the car... would have been a sweet video though!

I lost count of how many hondas down there were getting smoked by large chevy trucks.... yeah, they're real fast and Johnny's car is slow

I'd say he did good with the poor traction he gets from street tires
