went to a dyno today

dissapointed! but maybe I shouldn't be , the guy did not let me drive the car, and when I look at the chart it did not have a lot of info, he did not push it hard enough, or fast enough, I did not even think he took it to full boost :3

239.2 PS at the wheels, at 1 bar. at 141 kph, he did not push the car hard, and the limit of the dyno was 271ps, so he was scared to push it. this in GERMANY, at the Bosch plant.

sounds like a gay dyno/operator. take it to a real dyno and see what she does.

Re: went to a dyno today

yes, but I forgot to list, its a t3/t4 48/60 turbo, at 14.5 psi, plus he had no fan in front of the intercooler, thats why I dont feel so bad, because this is Germany, everything sucks. I will go to the netherlands in the summer to see whats up. the car feels like its making way over 300hp, and I never lost a race, beating up on audi rs4, srt4, new mustangs and more.

Re: went to a dyno today

at a full bar of boost on that turbo you should be seeing mre than 300whp more like 350

hotrex 11-24-2005 10:53 AM

Re: went to a dyno today

14.5 psi on a b16a will not be 300 whp, especially with a .48 exhaust housing

Racintweek 11-24-2005 11:01 AM

Re: went to a dyno today

remember that most t3/t4 turbines are stage 3

hotrex 11-24-2005 11:02 AM

Re: went to a dyno today

so what,

the .48 sized exhaust housing will still affect top end peformance ona motor that revs so high

Re: went to a dyno today

this was a conversion from a super 60 from down to turbo, and a t4 compressor plate and housing, the wheels where the same. either the motor is getting some new parts for the winter, hondatas300, 60-1 turbo fromcheapturbo.com, looking for some tryp r cams, and 20 psi of boost. all I want is 400psi I will get it at whatever it takes.

400PSI or 400ps? cause that'll make a huge difference, haha.

Re: went to a dyno today

400psi. naw 400 hp thats what I want, but I still think I have more than what the dyno results showed

Especially with the compresion dropped down to 9.0

Re: went to a dyno today

with all that considered, I need a bigger turbo :y

Why hondata? Why? Crome has come soo sooo far.

Re: went to a dyno today

cause I am using uberdata right now, and it as issues every other day, car stalls in middle of the street, car goes in limp mode on the autobahn while passing a beemer at 240kph, hondata has been proven to last and push cars over 500hp, and I dont want to have to mess with another rom editor, the s300 is worth the try. $535 at import parts cant beat that.

I am in Schweinfurt, Bavaria.. I am closer to the czech border. but in the summer I will see whats up with the other countries. this country is lame. for country made so many performance cars O0

Re: went to a dyno today

With a low compression ratio like that you need a lot more boost, and a lot more turbo ;) Sounds like you have the motor for it though :)

I am in the same city, where the factory is, when I get lost, I look for the FAG factory or the SKF factory,or nuke power plant smoke, or the smell of pig ----. the bosch dyno is the same place.
