sheriff called me this morning saying it was recovered from an apartment place down the street from my house...how :1 can u be to live right down the road from me and steal the car? lol...but they towed it to a tow yard close by...so after i get insurance and all that on my new civic i'm going to pick up my hmt civic :)...

i don't know yet...once i go down to the tow place i'll find out...i have to call the place and talk to them and confirm that its my car...so when i call i'll ask how the car is...

I mean, being so close to you I doubt they where driving it, but hopefully they didn't have time to completely part it out, if they where stupid enough to steal a car a block away, maybe they where stupid enough to take their time parting it out.

no...no alarm...the alarm was going on that saturday...the car got stolen like thursday night...i can't remember...i just didn't think much about it...i mean cars around here don't get stolen often...

I live in a relatively small city of 400,000 in Ontario, and ---- gets stolen from mall parking lots patroled by security on a day to day basis.

Note to self: install alarm before any mods are even thought of.

they have had the car since the 15th the sheriff said...he said something about there was a problem with contacting me because they had another contact number along with mine for someone to come get the car...and when that person showed up they didnt have any documents showing ownership of the car...so who ever that was, was the nigga that i'm going to shoot... >:D...so hopefully nothing is gone...glad i didn't pay the taxes on the car when i was suppose to or else it would have never gotten towed

hope all the stuff is on ya car m8 :) over in the U.K we have 2 types of car thieves them that nick them for a jiy ride and them thatnick them for parts >:( and they are startin to car-jack people now and some are gettin hurt real bad :( our cops dont all carry guns so the car theives take the piss just a bit toooo much ::) however i am lucky that my cars are well known one time my uncle was takin my car for a M.O.T and a friend called me up when i was in work askin where i was as he spotted my car with some (in his words twat drivin it) then he said do you want me to run him off the road and give him a kickin >:D i was like hell no it's my uncle :o :o takin it for it's M.O.T

nice to hear it was recovered. reminds me of my old crx. jacked it from in front of the house and several days later recovered a block and a half away. ---- i coulda recovered it myself and not pay the 5bills to take iy out impound. but yeah, it was all intact except they stole my horn, air filter, and tried to steal the homo blue and cf ebrake handle. dohc zc still in the engine bay too.

well the motor is there...and the interior is there....no front bumper...no intercooler...no manifold...no piping...no blow off...no turbo...nothing :(...left the rims...and took my new ebc and guages...hopefully they didn't take the spoon mirrors lol...those are the only things left on the car i could care about...so i might get it out if the tow place doesn't charge to much to get it out :'(

Maybe an obvious question, but what happens if your car gets stolen, and your insurance company writes you a check, you buy another car, and then they recover your car? Do you get the old car back?

yes but you have to pay storage fee's to the tow place or where ever its at...my fee's are 467.00 becuz they've had the car since the 10th...i just talked to them...everything else that i wanted is gone...so i told them they can keep the car...i mean it's a stock d15b7...thats it...
