Re: well, I did it already!!!!
well, i pulled the motor out and set it to the side. its lighter than i thought and damn the trans is like a piece of cake on the damn thing, just weird it not having a separable bell housing!? but over all i've almost completely stripped the engine bay of everything. now that i have a new project and parts on the way i think im going to be a lot more satisfied with the car when im finished. should be back up and running full strength by the end of may. im still debating though to add some laughing gas to it for ***** and giggles, or to possibly kill myself in doing so. only 3 peeps from HMT knows the lowdown. if none of you can figure it out i shall kill all!!!!

ha ha ha.
well... if it ran on one rotor, than you can re use one rotor. the housing will be seriously too old for any good.
12a's tend to last longer cus the apex seal is shorter in length than the 13b's. this means they tend to not break as much. thats why mazda came out with the renesis. the figured that hey, lets put the exhaust orts on the side and see where that goes. what do you know, less stress on the apex seals.
pm me if you want any more help man.

also, heat and carbon build up tend to be the culprit in blown engines. dont be surprised if you find a ---- ton of carbon gunked on there.
