that's just it, i have no one to teach me. if i knew someone that welded, i could get a quick "crash course" and take it from there, but it looks like i'm on my own, or i could sign up for a course at the community college, i prolly will.

I agree, fab or welding section would definatly be a plus. Just remember that more newbies might burn there eyes off because they only read 'recommended welder' and not the 'important eye protection'... :-)

I might be interested in doing up some quick instructional videos but someone would need to host them.

I can braze real good. I went to school to be an airplane mechanic. But it got to expensive so I am go to a place cheaper. If you want to know anything a bout that I would be glad to tell you how. Brazing is good for your oil return lines on your oil pan. At least the bung.
