Pretty much MIG is a lot easier to learn but less versital and the welds don't really look as nice. It is def. what you want though. If you get one with gas then it will be no time at all till your welds look pretty sexy. I would go with the lincoln that people have been mentioning. Thats what I would have gotten but I decided to get a DC powered one, but for most people thats out of the question.

I was thinking on getting a DC welder to. Easy without the gas. ANywas, thanks for all the good help!

The one I have actualy runs off of a huge 36V battery bank. It welds nicer IMO but most people don't have a large battery at their disposel.
