Weighed my car today, what a pig!

ok, i weighed my car today. It came out as 2380, and i guess you could call that my daily driving weight. I went into a truck weigh station, lol. where do you guys weigh your cars at because the guy weighed it and then told me to take my street racing punk ass elsewhere, lol. I didn't even rev or do anything stupid, just got on the scales. maybe he's mad cuz he drives a stang??? lol

btw what are the heaviest things on a crx that can be taken off besides a/c?

LOL you went to a truck weight station? Thats's funny. I've never weighed my car never even thought of it. I'll have to do that sometime. Oh interior, dash, heater core, seats, front bumper gaurd and rear bumper gaurd, seat belts, power window motors, tow hooks, anything that you can take off that you don't need. I remember any old quote from if your a real street racer "When something falls off your car you wounder how much you weight fell off."

2380 with you in it? I can estimate you at around 170 - that's an average weight right? so that sets the car at 2210. A full tank of gas (listed as 10.5 gallon tank) could weigh up to 95 lbs. If you have power steering that adds weight, so ditch the AC and loop the power steering lines. Ditch the Spare and jack, and things will start to be lighter... Rust does half the work for me up here in MN. Everyone says, why don't you get a clean chassis and swap your parts over... I just say, this is way lighter, so why?

if any of you are in farming areas, most grain elevators have weight scales. the one near me is automatic so u can just hop on there late at night and check your weight
