weber carb, toyota 22r, etc.
well, my aisin stock carb imploded itself internally, and i was displeased with the poor mpg that was resulting more and more, so i picked up a weber off of a '83 jag (jets are within needle adjustment for a relatively stock 22r) for fitting in toolbox discount, and after getting it installed, it seems that if i adjust primary mixture, 5 minutes later the needle hasn't moved but it acts like it has. this is on a fully warm engine.
i really don't have any weber experiences, mostly holley and aisin, anyone know if this is a weber issue or not? carb was pretty damn clean inside, gas was decently fresh, popped it open, lubed linkages, wiggled em a few hours later, lubed again, etc, the usual carb stuff. seems to be much more responsive and stuff vs the stock deal.. really wanna keep this
