wouldnt it kinda be the same ---- if you left it at the original boost/timing and then lowered the octane ?

---- son, I run straight 87 in my low comp Z6 on 11psi with no pinging, even with my 15psi creep.

Sweet! A writeup on HMT

Thanks for sharing your install. That is more of what me and alot of other people like to see. I hate reading posts and pics of a badass hmt setup that is all done without any explanation.

stupid noobs :S :1 dont know the basics timming / detonation rule theres alot of other little ---- involved but its possible to run 87 in a gsr that is meant to run 91 by reducing the timming my dohc vtack like pings on 87 at low rpm hgih load but thats because i didnt remove enought timming below 2200 rpm colums 7-10 once i get a chance to tune it again when i finally boost it i will

i just asked a question you ------- tool shed, dont call me a n00b then start babbling about your bullshit car. if you run water injection you can run more timing, obviously. "basic timing/detonation rules" as per you say that lowering the octane is possible if you lower the timing. so now you have a car tuned on low octane fuel and low timing, now water inject it and add timing. now your stuck with a car that runs the exact same with ------- low octane. its not a stupid question you fucktard.

without adding any timing (stock ECU) what gains could be seen with water/meth injection with the same octane, same PSI?
