Water/Meth Inj. Kit Install
Here is a step by step how-to install a Snow Performance Stage 1 kit I purchased from Xenocron.
First I mounted the tank. The tank has to be higher than the pump because it is gravity fed. I decided to mount both in the back of my EF. It is recommended that the solenoid upgrade is installed whenever the tank is mounted in the trunk. This is to prevent siphoning.
The pump was then mounted below the tank in the rear of my hatch. The pump has a in port and out port, dont ask me how I know this.
On the same side of the car I mounted the solenoid and the relay. Zip ties will work. The solenoid also has an in and out port. In from the pump and out to the nozzle. It has to be grounded to the car and it dosent matter which wire.
The black spongy stuff is pipe insulation.
The relay is screwed to the car.
The nozzle was threaded into my charge pipe. I tapped it close to the throttle body and sealed it with Goop.
Supplied in the kit is a small tube of Industrial strength Goop, I had a tube already opened.
I mounted the Vac/Boost switch on the firewall on top of my makeshift MAP sensor box it gets connected to a vac source. I had a nipple on the throttle body that was not being used. On the switch itself there is an allen bolt which determines when you want the spray to initate. Chris set mine starts at 6psi.
The plastic tubing slides richt into the connectors and can easily be removed be pulling back on the release ring. Goop is not needed.
I use over the shelf windshield washer fluid the reads CAUTION: contains Methanol.

Update - I forgot to add that a green lite was included in the kit that mounts inside the car to indicate when the system is spraying. Only problem is that it burned out after 5 miniutes.
So, I went to Radio Shack and bought a Green LED Lite with a Built -in Resistor. It is mounted inside of the car, and is still working today, about a month after it was installed.

In gasoline engines, as with any intercooler, this suppresses detonation so more power producing boost and timing can be utilized. Water, with its high latent heat of vaporization cools the intake charge and combustion. Methanol cools the charge and combustion but also acts like an extremely high octane fuel (some researchers claim as high as 120 octane) as well as adding more oxygen to combustion.
