apparently Russian army pushing into Georgia and Russian bombers are doing bombing runs..

Russia closed all its borders to Georgia.. no mail/money/trains/planes anything crosses

were gonna get dragged into this sooner or later :3

why the ---- cant we stop trying to fix other countries and start fixing our own :7

I read a few different stories on this but its hard to follow, so basically Georgia (the republic of) wants to join NATO and open commerce with the west and Russia doesn't like that and fires missiles into a village there claiming to protect innocent russians? Now they both claim to be defending themselves, but Georgia is trying to retake (small village with funny name like oslovania or some ----) and its full of ethnic russians or whatever.

theres a break away republic in georgia that both georgia and russia claim
and russia funds the "rebels" (who are called terrorists in chechnya :S)
georgia launched a major offensive against the rebels
russia retaliated by sending tanks and bombers into georgia..
