Wanna make an easy 500whp??
If you want this much power for cheap you must do like my buddy did in minnesota.
First you buy one of these from the cops. Low mileage fox body: http://uploads.savefile.com/redir/49567.jpg Then u mock up and install one of these master power 62-1, .70 cold a/r .69 hotside for quick spool up (t4 housing): http://uploads.savefile.com/redir/49573.jpg http://uploads.savefile.com/redir/49578.jpg You then weld everything together and you are ready to run an easy 500+hp http://uploads.savefile.com/redir/49579.jpg He made an estimated 500rwhp at 19psi untuned with a shitty fmu. Hes now buying new gaskets cuz they just couldnt hold no more and hes saving up for the tweecer(EM). They say 500rwhp is all the block can take before it splits but well see... |

I like how people don't dyno ----, and don't tune ---- then they start throwing hp figures out. my civic is making at least 400 whp, I just haven't had a chance to get it on the dyno yet. |

the identical setup is making 507 whp on a tune stang with 16psi
so u know.... we figured 3 psi would bridge the gap :P |

Hey, no need for flaming, no respect for the turbo stang crowd?? im a member of the turbomustangs crowd, have been for a while and also owner of the car, notice he said estimated 500hp, if u guys want vids then ill get them, time slips when the track opens and prob a dyno sheet, ive got many sources to believe i was at the 500hp mark, many cars on turbomustangs.com site, go check it out, like barry D running 10's on completly stock 100k mile shortblock with cast pistons. The car im basing my estimated power from is a stock 93 with arp head bolts, and cometic gaskets running 16psi, made over 500 rwhp, want a dyno sheet? i will get, he also has also ran 11's with stock motor just the additon of turbo kit and 16psi until his tranny shot the shits on him. Like i said im not here to flame anyone, nor do i feel as if i need to be flamed

i could give two fucks about a mustang ..there ------- ghey i would never drive any kind of mustang ... and there is no stock motor stangs in the 12's stock means no modifications what so ever to the valvetrain suspension everything STOCK he said STOCK ran 14.1 .. i that bitch prolly had 2 grand dumped into then ran a 14.1 either way i jnust think its funny how mustangs always try to race imports cause they cant go play with the real muscle cars

rear gear are like nitrous for a Stang. You can really drop stock ET's with just gears. Looks nice except for the FMU ;) You say the block can only handle 500hp but you'd probably be able to get 600 if you had some real management

You can't forget what stock means to the mustang crowd. I think it means that as long as everything fits under the hood, it's stock.

you know im not the smartest guy around, but it seems to me that a mustang will get outrun by a camaro because the msutang has a what 4.6l 289ci motor, 302ci 5.0 if youre old school while the camaro used a 350ci 5.6l or something like that? my understanding is that a 351 swapped mustang will eat a ls1, etc, alive especially the police interceptors, my uncle had a 67 fairlane with a bone stock, freshly rebuilt, 88 police interceptor straight outta the ltd, that would own z28/ss's all day long, i remember the day he snapped the driveshaft in half while racing my dad who had a 68gmc pickup w/ a rebuilt 67 ss 427 motor in it at over 140 and he was a good 6 car lengths away from us, that damn car would fly, so in conclusion i would say a mustang has a direct disadvantage over a camaro, its like racing a stock d16 civic vs a stock gsr integra, who you thinks gonna win? but drop that gsr in a civic and youll have a closer race.....

very nice btw, if i was a mustang lover, im sure i would drool over that. i have a buddy at home who has a black 94 stang, all motor, running high 9's. all motor meaning built bottom end and top end with some kind of crazy fuel management. i havent seen it in awhile, last I knew, he was gonna start playin with suspension components. i cant wait to go home for christmas see how its comming around. ohh and his parents own a detail shop, you would not believe how clean that car was. :D |

How much PSI can that engine handle? 18 psi would beat the ---- out of it so fast wouldn't it? I know its an older engine is hardier so i just was wondering. Sry for the niave question.
