ok, yea its CIS, dont think they really changed anything fuelwise from the 2 setups, could be wrong though, so you should be able to get at the in tank pump via pulling the rear seat cushion

CIS-E, actually. I still have a Bosch FI manual on my bookcases somewhere. It was a simple system to fix if you had a fuel pressure gauge.

sorry JD didnt feel like getting really technical, but yes your are right it is CIS-E, one of the more reliable injection setups, not too much to ---- up, except old worn parts such as fuel pumps :1

And the "injectors"
If you have a 930 thats running rough, it probably needs injectors.

CIS-E is easy to diag and fix provided you as JD said, can read the fuel pressure. I also have the evil bosch book.

Sorry guy but VW=failure. No way around it.

I wouldn't say the CIS cars are failure... perserverence is probably the word. They aren't German failure wagons like the newer stuff, but any old car will work you.
