not to shabby.

not a fan of the pre 99 body style, but still not bad.

how many miles were on it for that price? up here in MN, add 1500 to that price and you could get a 2000-2002 with 100k miles.

It has like 101K on it. Leather is mad clean no cracks what so ever all windows are in good shape. No pops or grinds from any windows or sunroof.

i was weary of the year but Its ------- clean. Not a dent scratch nothing, all factory body lines are straight as an arrow, no odd gaps. Only thing it needed is a fresh tune up ( do it to all new cars regardless) and a headliner. So what like afternoon in the driveway, I think i got a good deal for 2900.

I saw a few 2000+ Passats but they were all 1.8t with over 100K and that scared me a bit, I wanted to stick with a VR6. It bothers me enough not knowing how this car was maintained for the first 100k of its life I dont want to worry abotu a 100K turbo.

Ugh. Flat-nose passout.

Not to make you feel bad but I would have thought about that one for a second. The fact that its a VR6 helps, but the chassis are prone to electrical problems.

I dunno you should be capable of fixing anything on that car yourself though. No point in worrying about problems till they happen.

trust me, i am trying to buy the ------- thing already.

she has to wait on her insurance company to come up with the salvaged title. according to her, she will know tomorrow what the deal is.

my hope is that it will be sitting in the garage this weekend getting bondo'd and the sunroof fixed. then on monday drop it off to get painted.
