Not a big VW fan, but I'd jump all over that ---- for $500. It will pay for itself in no time, and with a lil work sounds like you could make 2 or 3(if not more) thousand dollars off of it.

The v6 is crammed in there so tight you need to find the 12 year old mexican kid that assembled it to come back to change your serpentine belt from time to time

It's a car that runs for 500 dollars. Why are you even contemplating this? I would have bought it the second she told me about it without even thinking twice.

if the car was totalled out by insurance then it has a salvage title. it will need to go through salvage inspection before it can be registered.

might be worth more in parts

i just bought one for 800, blew the headgasket but im doing a rebuild. timing chains are fun if its your first time. after that its not so bad. ill buy it for 500 if yyou dont

it does have a salvaged title, only for hail damage though.

and yes, it does need to be inspected, but thats only $43 here in Minnesota
