Default VW Golf

Just thought i'd show off my friends project that we have just finished doing, its only a 1.8 8v gti, hes more of a cruiser than a speedstar, but im trying to get him to do a HMT kit on it .

Specs,
1.8 8v gti engine,
RS4 Blue Pearl paint, done DIY, came out awesome! 6 layers of clear coat
H&R Porsche 5 stud converters,
Porsche wheels, 8 x 16 all round , Polished by hand! Took 3 months to do them!never again!!
Lowered on H&R springs and shocks, 50mm
Also did the custom system install in the Boot, this thing weighs a bastard tonne!

All in all it took us just over a year to complete, when he first bought it, it was a 1.6cl!

Let me know what you guys/gals think,
Matt

That ---- looks sick!

I'm thinking about doing an MK2 gti turbo project after I boost my Integra. But it will be still a while from now, and plus I dont know because of all the problems I will probably run into. Probably be more of a headache than fun to drive.

Definitely get him to boost that bitch! With the wheels, and the system, he will definitely need it, lol.
