The Escort is mine, 1.9 SOHC stock internals and stock head (just not stock for that block), I had just installed a new clutch the day before, so I still had the boost turned down to 15 pounds.

you can run faster than 13.1 with a stock 5 liter and a 175 sprayin

He's only been to the track once with slicks and spray together, so he still need's some pratice. His trap went from 101mph to 109mph.

a 175 shot will add about half of that to the wheel, so about 85 hp. phiz dynoed a gsr on a 50 shot and it netted 24 whp over stock.

I heard that NOS, NX and ZEX all over rate their shots. Isn't it TNT/Nitrous Works that actually give more of a "realistic" horsepower number?

Other than that, that mustang doesn't seem like it was spraying, those fuckers are QUITE a bit faster on the juice ;)

If it's a 175 shot and he only traps 109 with it.................................Does he he have 4 of his spark plugs disconnected?
A stock 5.0 will run deep into the 12's with that much dope on it.

A 175 shot will add about 175 at the wheels. Drivetrain losses are not much related to the power output at all. Hence anybody who uses a percentage to describe drivetrain loss is an idiot :)

every engine reacts differently to forced induction or nitrous, one engine with the exact same nitrous shot will usually not make the same gain as another engine with the same shot

yes but if the engine power output is pumped up by 175hp that won't increase your drivetrain losses much at all.

The video links don't work for me. I have noticed that on some of the videos I try to watch. They come up in like encrypted netscape windows and it will fully load, but nothing but goofy symbols.

i race that escort anyday and all i need to beat it is a stage 1 racing clutch but your going to need to save up for a while, maybe ask you mom to barrow some money, drive here, and get dusted

so say i took it wrong witch is possible. my car is more JDM then yours. i have a full j-spec motor swap with ecu and engine harness. tho my car is an "escort" its built off a mazda chassis so i cna use alot of mazdaspeed parts from a handful of cars. sadly enuf it ran a 14.3@ 100 on street tires spinning the first 2 gears. with 2.4 60' times give me slicks and im running 13's. my car when it was n/a ran a 15.5@ 88 stock. no NAWZ needed.
