Man I love honda's but anyone arguing that they are better than v8's is really just arguing a loosing point. Yes any honda can be made to be tons of v8 cars out there, but thats because 90% of the people that own v8's bought it because they couldnt MAKE a car go fast so the bought a "fast" car. In all reality a well built v8 (usually built by them old folk) will devistate any 4 banger. Again I'm bias towards honda's, I sell honda parts for a living, but I do live in Reno, NV where we have "hot august nights" (the biggest classic v8 gathering in the world) every year. And every year the v8 cars tear up the 4 bangers. I wish I could say otherwise but I'd be lying. A swapped honda is at 2.1l max (b-series).....a swapped v8 can be easily in the 7-8l range.
I guess the best way to prove the 4cyl/8cyl arguement is.......The fastest cars in the world have what? 8cyl and are what??? RWD.....sucks to admit it |

This thread is dumb.
RWD has the advantage of weight transfer from a dead stop. Power to weight ratios being equal, whoever has the traction should have a distinct advantage. The arguement (discussion) is about straightline acceleration so who gives a damn about gas mileage or even initial price of vehicle? That's a strawman arguement. I like tits. |
