Re:V-Tec questions
don't sohc vtec motors engage at 4800?
it's not good to set your vtec lower then the factory setting because you won't be making optimal power or fuel economy goes out the window....
doesn't vtec suck up gas since the valves are open longer then normal?

Re:V-Tec questions
You set it lower than factory when you're running advanced fuel management, and modifications.
Having VTec open, when boost kicks in would be a good thing because more of the charge are will be in the cylinders.
That's just one idea..

Re:V-Tec questions
there is no way that gs-r is real....the thing would have to be like a 7 sec. car......or maybe less.....the thing goes 0-60 in under 4 seconds....i dunno this video seems kinda shady to me. but it seems real! im confused.

Re:V-Tec questions
well, most of it im sure depends on gearing(i could be wrong)...but yea your right i over exaggerated on the 7 sec. 1\4 mile, its probably more like 11's\12's. but also the fastest civic ever could only go 216. and by the way that thing was going he could have gone up to like 240 cuz he was like at 220 and still climbing up good. he would be in every car magazine known to mankind.
