a/v experts vcr to pc?? or dvd(record vhs to dvd) to pc
I recorded what was on my cpu screen via a tv-out video card and routing it through a vcr. Now I wanna put what on the vhs on the cpu?? Anybody near Sea, WA help me with this, will pay or give you a small part you might need.

You'll need a video capture card to do that, most TV cards can do capture.

I don't know exactly what you are recording, but would it be easier to just record it from the computer directly? There are lots of software that will record the screen to video clip. If you are recording from a game, fraps is a good choice (www.fraps.com)
I assume a home theater type DVD recorder would record from vhs to DVD, if you have one, but I've not used one.

The capture card may come with software, I got a V-Stream aka KWorld (never got a mail-in rebate on it btw) that came with Cyberlink PowerDirector 2.5. It works fair but is old, the current version is 5.0. You can download 30day trial versions, ver 5 has a watermark on any edited clips, v4 may be better if you can find it, not as advanced but also doesn't have the watermark. There are a lot of shareware titles available but I haven't liked any I've tried so far. The only free one I know is VirtualDub www.virtualdub.org but it doesn't have the most intuitive interface.
I don't believe fraps will record sound.
