Boy with these high gas prices I need to start buying 5.0 mustangs and boost them to save money on gas :S

Re: urv8sux vid of local guys civic nearly 500whp
To sum this thread up and put it to an end:
The bigger the motor = the better the gas mileage The smaller the motor = the worse the gas mileage and 4.10 rear gears were invented only for the SN95 becuase they are so heavy they can barely move. Fox bodies never run 4.10's or 4.56's. Ok now everyone's in agreement. we can end this |

Re: urv8sux vid of local guys civic nearly 500whp
my odometer works correctly. i drove 80 miles round trip today. mapquest says one way is 38.35miles so... yes my odometer works.
already had 8 miles on my trip odometer. 88.8miles i put 15 bucks in. $2.41 a gallon 15 / 2.41 = 6.22 gallons 88.8 / 6.22 = 14.27mpg and i still have little more than 1/4 tank left. 15 bucks put my gas gauge from below E to half a tank. 6.22 / 2 = 3.11 88.8 / 3.11 = 28.55mpg (estimated) so counting the 8 miles on my odometer before i left this morning, then the 80.8 i put on it driving to school and back today. i used 1/4 a tank of gas. 88.8 miles on 1/4 tank 8) and YES i was being extremely easy on it today 8) |

if you want to trust mapquest over my tripometer mapquest says 38.35 miles 38.35 x 2 = 76.70 miles + 8 miles that were on it before i left 84.7 miles / 3.11 gallons = 27.23mpg http://67.189.106.110/pics/stang/mustang160.jpg |
