uh oh, got a new mistress
She demands lots of attention
I've been looking at guitars for months now and finally pulled the trigger yesterday, not an easy decision though. I was considering a cheaper epiphone les paul/SG and putting in EMG 81/85 pickups but after playing on an epi for a while I just wanted something built better. Very happy though, it plays like a dream...a very expensive dream.
Gibson les paul studio
Old epiphone les paul special 2 this guitar went for $400 back in 1999, now it sells for $150, amazing beginer guitar though.
Between yesterday and today, I haven't gotten anything done

I love gibsons. there is a lot of hype though, once we got wheelin and dealin I hardley paid anything for it, less than 1/2 the list price, so that says a lot right there. For an amp I'm using a line 6 spider 2, not bad, but the tones fit most of the styles I play.

I think there are different tones to each guitar. Fenders sound a little more bright to me and the gibson's always seem a little more smokey if that makes any sense. I love the Les Paul Im jeleous.
That thing is sex with strings. and I mean the good kind
