Who saw this fight a week or so ago? I missed it and I wanna know who won...shamrock got his ASS handed to him in the 1st fight

well , it wasnt much of a fight. shamrock and tito where pounding it out for what it seemed like a few seconds. tito got ken on the ground and started throwin elbows into ken. ref stopped it. ken wasnt even hurt and the stoppage was BS!! It would have been a good fight

i like shamrock, and hate tito, but shamrock got owned, he is too old.

he got about 4 elbows to the face w/o defending and the ref stopped it, he wasn't hurt but he wasnt defending himself either

shammy's days are over, he was very good back in the day but the fighters are alot better now and he's alot older with alot less crank. His days are over. Any one who hates tito should acually look into his life and see what he does for kids and ----, he has a good hart I think he puts on 90% of that ---- just to get in his opoinents head, I have never seen him be a sore looser either.

I saw it, Shamrock sucks, and he's horribly ugly and hard to look at even on TV...kinda makes me vomit in my throat.

ortiz landed like 3-5 elbows in a row, the fight def shouldnt have been stopped...i seen other fights that go way longer and have worse blows landed, ---- the first shamrock/ortiz fight went what 3 rounds till they stopped it cuz ken was getting beat too badly...thats a bs call

try reading up on the way UFC works. It isn't about whether or not the blows aren't "Heavy" enough. he was taking repeated hits without intelligently defending himself. It was a good solid call on a fight.

So disapointed. :3 That ref sucked, sorry to say, but it's true. They showed a bunch of other fights that he reffed and stopped early right after that match. Big John Mcarthy should have been the ref. The heavyweight fight was bullshit too, it should have been a draw, nether guy did ----. What a waist of 40 bucks.

Okay so I just watched that match again, this time I was sober. What a bunch of ----! That's how Shamrock fights, he wears people out by letting them punch him in the face. If you saw the first match and think that was a good call in the second match, your blind. That ref is a ------- retard.

dean is a duesche! Big John should've did that fight cause he watches the fighters eyes for fight instead of just undefended blows. He's been around since UFC1 and he knows his ----. And that's hardly how shamrock fights. He's an agressive sub fighter, he's way out of his league these days. His strand up is as good as an avarage boxer. So he's way out classed by fighters these days. Also Tito is one of the strongest fighters in the sport today. Shamrock was never known for his strength.

I totally concur. In the past it was "whoever submits or gets knocked the ---- out first" but now its not exactly that way anymore. It was obvious as ---- that shamrock couldnt defend himseld anymore. He was done. He was locked up on the cage had no where to go. Ortiz was slammed on top of him in total control.

Shamrock had his days. He needs to live with what he has accomplished even if he doesnt like ortiz. Let his students do the battleing against ortiz' people.

i really got into the UFC tournament thing where Ken and Tito trained some guys to fight against eachother. The only reason was because i ws on vacation in New York and the was the only channel the hotel had. well anyways i saw the fight and Shamrock got his ass handed to him. i think it was over in like 3 minutes or something. does anyone know if and when there is going to be another fight between them?

i think that the call was bs cuase the match before that they were in the same positiond and the dude was dropping elbow on the guy that was bleeding bad as ---- not defending himself and they let it go on so im glad i dint spend money on that fight cuase the only good fight was the firdt one.

You have to agree it was a ------- bullshit call, maybe not "bad" call, but bullshit for sure. I think everybody is missing the big point here. This wasn't a regular UFC match, if it was I wouldn't have really cared that it got called early. This match was hyped up from the UFC T.V show for a long time and it was a title match, a fricking title match! Everybody wanted to see Tito VS Ken, and they wanted to see a good fight like the last one. No question that fight should have went on longer. Herb Dean is a ------- retard that probably smoked too much herb before the match. I bet they lost a lot of money on that UFC, because I sure as hell am never paying for another UFC fight.

So Dean said he stopped the fight because he thought the first elbow knoked Ken out. That's why the fight was stopped not for damage. Cause there was none. Ken wasn't cut or anything. It was a bad call. I guess ken is pissed cause dean won't even admitt he made a mistake he's standing by that ken was knocked out! Bullshitt and a horrible call. A lot of people think Den was used as the ref cause he's a ----- and stops fights too early, so that Dana could cash in on a 3rd fight...

It was a perfect call.. People just can't stand Ortiz's attitude.. Like the 3rd elbow made Ken go completely limp.. he was definatley out of it.. On UFC.com there's a video of Ortiz talking about the fight, and he showed his highly swollen elbow from those massive shots. Excellent call, horrible fight.. Shamrock needs to retire and Ortiz needs to move on to bigger and better things.. Ortiz vs. Liddell 2 ;)
