lol, pretty much. Most people don't realize how much it takes to fight that long. I'd be in a self-indused coma after the first round.....if I made it that far. Try hitting a punching bag for a minute straight and see how much that wears you out. Now imagine if the punching bag were fighting back. :P

The fighting styles, rules and rings are DIFFRENT. I hate to tell you but there are a ton more ufc people that went to pride than pride to ufc. Almost every ufc fighter that went to pride got owned. Were do you think chuck got his *** beat?

There really is no which is better though. Some fighters will do better in a small cage that a boxing ring, others will do better in a pride setting. I never though one was better that the other. I did like pride rules and fights better. But I always argued that the leagues were just diffrent. Take silva, he was dominating pride with pride rules. I still felt the whole time if he had a rematch with tito in the ufc tito would win. Now if they went in a pride ring it would be diffrent. I think silva would own tito.

No need in saying one is better than the other. We all know what would happen if cro cop fought the no name fat ---- in pride. But now he gonna be a nobody ---- just like pete williams.

Still, these guys should have better conditioning than your average schmuck. I used to drill muay thai when I was 12-15 and the conditioning they put even us little kids through was astounding. I went from being able to do 15 or so pushups to 100 without stopping. Now, it may not have been blazing fast to 100 pushups, but it was still done without stopping. Just look at Arlovski in his fight. Though there wasn't much action Arlovski is one of those guys that is always moving his feet and head. Even at the very end of the last round his punches were crisp. Although his nickname should be "Teddy Bear" instead of "pitbull" because his last few fights have been slow and boring.

sorry, but thats my opinion and i still think ufc produces better fighters....if that same fight was in the pride it woulda been the same result...cro cop got thrown around he's one dementional, if he can't throw punches then he'll get his *** kicked almost every time. the ufc produces better all around fighters and thats what he ran into, a no name that kicked his *** because he's better all around. he wore him out on the ground so when they stood up cro cop was tired and not as strong with his aproch.
