Type R rods or Ls rods in d15 block
 

Has anyone tried putting in type R rods in the d block I've heard of it with a little notch in the block
But the real question would be should I use an LS rod or type R rod just to beef up the bottom end because the stock d rods are weak I plan onn running no more that 15psi up to maybe 20 if it would take the heat on a stock d head and pistons

I am no expert, to me it seems it would cost more money to get those rods prep. to get them to work in a d series, than just investing in some eagle rods. plus you can live sleep a little better knowing the eagle rods, or whatever aftermarket rods you choose will be stronger than stock. any body else?

ya but what is the diferance between the d15b(jdm si) and d16z6 rods other than the odvious. I was told the jdm rods are stronger to begin with

considering this topic is about D15's and ibby was suggesting a company that sells rods for the d15 and ones that do not. I dont see how your post is relivant? :P
