Twin Turbo crx
Well I know that there have been two twin turbo cars on here but I would like to do it differently. Instead of only two runners going to each turbo I would like to do it in series so that it boosts fast yet has enough flow at top end to make enough power instead of droping off like my tubo does. I know that everyone will say its a bad idea. I know, just give me good input and constructive criticisim. lets hear it.

Re: Twin Turbo crx
its called sequencial(sp) I've seen a couple porsche 930's like that one small turbo and one big, first one spools up quick then the wastegate opens and feeds the second :P just buy a good match to your engine and you will be happier

Re: Twin Turbo crx
All I know about it BBKA and the weird crows nest of a manifold D-series one. As of right now my RHB5 makes 150 lbs.tq at 2,500 rpm all the way across till about 5600 where it and horsepower slowly drops off. It's a super fun turbo setup just to have around town but it is lacking up top. Thats why I would want the second turbo to feed the high rpm. I want to be able to spank people and when they ask what is done to it I can say it's twin turboed. But not to ricers. they don't even get a blow off. I think there would be enough room to do it since it is a D. I just don't know whether to get another IHI or get a bigger one.
