my civic is not running. the dealership showed me it had 3 codes saved. one for the main relay (that doesnt matter) one for the 02 sensor and one for a TW sensor. my question is, what the hell is a TW sensor?

temperature sending unit, just the water temperature sensor it's funny you asked that, because i just learned it today googling for a knock sensor

would the 02 sensor keep it from running at all?

it shouldn't, i didn't have the 02 sensor hooked up on my integra for the longest time, i just had the cel, but it ran fine

im really wanna figure out why this thing wont start. it doesnt get any spark, i think im just gonna change the whole dizzy, the junkyard wants 85$ for one.

yeah, well if it's not getting spark, it prolly is the dizzy. 85 bucks at the "junk" yard!! one time i bought some injectors from the junk yard and they marked them with a yellow paint marker, so i replaced them and took my old ones and marked them with the same kind of paint marker and took them back and got my money back (hint,hint)

i will try it either tonight or tomorrow night, do i need to reset the ecu to remove the saved codes or is that just mohawk honda trying to scam more money? how do you reset it?

i'm not sure, i think you can either take out the back up fuse, or just jump the wires (the ones that you jump to get the codes) and turn the ingnition to on or something like that. when i finally did hook my o2 sensor back up, the cel just went away (but i did have the battery, engine, and wiring harness out too)

Your dizzy may not be ur problem, o2 and water temp sensors dont have anything to do with the car starting whatsoever. What sound does the car make when you try and start it and you need to fix that main relay
