car (88hf was sohc zc/y8 mini-me): $500
turbo (14b): $50 fmu: $40 piping: (1/2 off a turbo capri other half standard 2.5 inch) free intercooler: ( 1g dsm) free bov: (1g dsm) free hf mani: free oil line: $4.97 i bought the car not running for $500 from a buddy who took it to the honda dealership and the prob was no injector pulse. so i took it home and put new injectors, resistor box and ecu in it and started right up. it had a y8 head on it but nothing to control vtec, and i knew i was going to turbo it, so i ditched the head. put the zc head back on and started colecting ---- for the kit. i lucked out and got alot of the ---- for free. pulls pretty good for a 14b@9lbs i g-teched it @ 13.9 and 14.1 so who know how acurate they are. but anyways here it is. http://img53.imageshack.us/img53/1995/imag0041ld4.jpg http://img226.imageshack.us/img226/5...pics002vb7.jpg http://img226.imageshack.us/img226/7...pics004dg3.jpg http://img226.imageshack.us/img226/9...pics003zy7.jpg http://img226.imageshack.us/img226/5...pics005do3.jpg |

The whole car and turbo setup together cost less then a new T3/T4 :D Solid work :y By the way I have a G tech the older one and running it at the drag strip to test its accuracy showed it to be 1/10 of a sec off almost every run with 1 or 2 being off by two tenths.The mph was off by 3-4 sometimes a little more though.

its def. a cheap turbo set up but honestly how reliable do u think it is? i know this site is all about home made set ups and ill give u props for doing it but i dont get why people just throw on a turbo and fmu. i say do it right the first time so u dont have to do it over and over again, but thats me and not 99% of the people on here. dotn get me wrong, i like sein set ups like this but just not for me.

i dont mean to ruine anything but video should be up late tonight, yes its running a open downpipe at nine psi, he raced and 03 roushe mustang with a smaller pulley, gear's, and exhaust and from a dig till a lil over 100 he only lost by a car and a half, not bad since he let the mustang launch first ;)
