i have read that the diverter valve works better, and that a bov on a 1.8t doesn't help at all

Do you have like 600 bucks saved up? I have a SAAB .42/.46 (I think, or at least something like that) that I'll sell you for 30 bucks. It spools fine, no rebuild needed. I just want it out of here. I got a lot of DSM buddies, so I can get you a bov, a SMIC, injectors and some hard/soft chargepiping. Get a boost gauge, get Cray to burn your ecu and tune, and you have boost. You're in MN, we'll hook you up
