i dont think having a water cooled section helps much...the oil is still hot as hell and the water is over 100 degress too...i let it idle for one minute most times

Apparently you've never tried to stop your car on just an ebrake going say, a mild, 35MPH.. try it sometimes, and you'll see why your line of thinking doesn't work.

Your e-brake must be bad. Mine stops just fine with it. Get your brakes fixed. Also, I don't think the thief really cares if he can't stop in time to avoid an obstacle. Anyways, this is getting out of hand. To each his own. Everybody has there own way of doing things. Whatever floats your boat. There is no wrong way.(technicaly speaking). ;D
