Re: turbo S truck
something to think about is to use a Mercruiser 3.0l crank 3.600 stroke they have same bearing journal sizes and were cut from the same batch of crank castings as the 2.5l.
Then bore the block 0.060 o/s use some 350 pistons with raised pin ht.
Use a '92 2.5l pontiac cyl. D-shaped exhaust ports used in Grand Ams.
Since you're using this head get 2.02" in. and 1.6" ex. valves along with titanium retainers (SBC pieces)
Then get 1.72:1 roller rockers from Crane Cams while your at it get a cam.
Also get either a Aluminum or Steal timing gears b/c those fiber gears sucks *****.
If you want a better forge crank Callies still makes them.
I met a guy who races circle track in colorado who makes 250bhp + na with his 2.5l w/ dry sump revs his to 8k.

Sweet, and for half the cost you can build a NA B20/VTEC that does the sameor better with a stock oil pump and on pump gas. Or, you can boost a stock D16 and be a lot faster.

the whole point here is i dont want to be like the crowd who drops a smallblock in and calls it a day. i want a 305 killer who owns the *** out of the sbc crowd. im going to do it right, make 300+hp and then call it a day
