What are you going to do for suspension? Some guys in town rally race a EF hatch. They do well, and are sponsored by H&R. It was featured in sport compact car. They ane using 90-03 integra front shocks, 4th gen(pop up headlights) accord rears. No sway bars.
They rolled it at the SCAA nat'ls.

One of the rt4wd wagon guys recently converted his piece to 50/50 awd. Solid driveline and phontom grip LSDs front and rear.

mount up the rear diff (build the front hanger), build a gas tank, shorten the rear drive shaft, put the rear axles in, straiten 1 trailing arm because the alighnment is out since I welded the two together, paint the new front fenders and ps door and install, put the turbo on, put the interior back in, build exhaust, build a roll cage, lots to go yet :S
