Daniel Trimnal did a bone stock LS swap into a gutted 90 DX hatch and was raping STI and Evo off the line with half bald 175/70R13 ---- tires. They aren't particularly fast cars. A D16 with 10 psi on a run of the mill HMT setup, and a little attention to the suspension so that you can lay down a modest power gain in 1st and 2nd, is all that is needed to absolutely flay an Evo alive.

It was a disorganised shithole with everyone that registered within the last week of November not having a pass. The line for exhibitor's alone to get badges for people, meaning they had to go out and wait in line instead of stay with their booth, was HUGE. Xeno ended up passing me off a no-show's tag, a couple of the other guys I was chilling with had incorrect ones as well. I had an exhibitor badge which meant I could have cleared anybody for a last minute one by standing in line.

ALDL? It's not a GM, dude. :l

Advanced User Debugging interface/port whatever you want to call it. You can drop the program out because it's on the same bus as the ECU's RAM, but there is no ability to flash via the protocol. The idea is to sift the code and look for reflashing protocols so you can molest the thing via the OBD2 connector.


Anyway, who ------- cares about all that? I want pics/vid of the Rally Civic, and I want them now. After keeping us waiting YEARS there better be HMT chalked on the window.

haha, Since I work on every ------- vehicle under the sun I generalize a few things, I just cant keep up on everything :P. I'm assuming that eventually you will be able to reflash a honda ecu like I can do on my ford? I can stuff a safeish program in my diesel for 440hp at the rear wheels in about a minute on a stock engine.

Pretty much. The throttle-by-wire Honda ECUs should be supported by openecu, etc, in a few months. Again, where the ---- are pics/vids??
