those joints look liek the thin cheap ones that wobble easily within the joint. one hard launch and there goes your joint/ and who knows what else.
you cant skimp out on quality parts on somethings. for example, its ok to use a china bov but not a china wastegate that can blow your motor. thats like a 8 dollar joint compared to a 14.00 joint that only moves when forced.

this just looks scary

they should also include some heim joint spacers at least.

that bracket is going to break. i wouldnt trust those 2 welds to hold a hard launch and a lot on power especially considering its the only thing stopping the LCA from ripping itself off the car.

the hiems looks like the pro1's that speedway motors sells though and they are not cheapo's but it looks like your using a 1/2" thread or smaller and for EF's it should be 5/8" min.

I think if the bracket to the rear hole was attached to the top and not the bottom on of the mount it would be safer.

+1

Now, we have discussed two things to make this part better.

1) Wrap the flat bar around the rod

2) Put the rear part on top of the rod like CSaddict mentioned.

JK, fix it.

All these inputs will be considered.

But to state:
No weld on a JKMotorsports bar has ever broken. There is a weld both inside and outside of those brackets. Smae way they are on the main bar themselves. But what the customer want, is what a company should provide.

Placing the Hiem Joint Like CSAddict suggested is doable, but Metric High Load Hiem Joint would need to be use. Hard to source, but not impossible.

Lastly they are not flimsy Hiems. 17,000lb rated Chromoly Hiems. Rod End Supply is our supplier.

I don't mean the heim bolted through to the arm. I mean keep your current bracket but make the trailer piece to the rear hole go from the top of the bracket and bend down to the back hole. This is an elementary quick drawing.

I see what you mean now.

Primarily our engineering has shown that the bracket without the rear peice is plenty to support the loads. The Rear Tab is only to locate and keep the bracket from twisting and applying a side load to the hiem joint causing the shank to bend.

Triangulating the locating tab to the DOM Material is something that can be done easily too.

I am currently in the process of re-entering all of my parts and design back into SolidWorks and Cosmos. This is something I did back even before I started, but I figure this is something the customers would appreciate seeing.
