Because the old ones were for D16A1 motors.

Yes...They Fit!

First thing I did when I got them...was stuck one down the bore of a D16A6 block we have on the stand. It was tight, but went through just fine.

We'll be dropping a set by the machine shop to get some Vitara's pressed on them....stay tuned.

Yes they do. In fact, I believe all H-Beams for Hondas require notching.
