Because the old ones were for D16A1 motors.

Yes...They Fit!

First thing I did when I got them...was stuck one down the bore of a D16A6 block we have on the stand. It was tight, but went through just fine.

We'll be dropping a set by the machine shop to get some Vitara's pressed on them....stay tuned.

Yes they do. In fact, I believe all H-Beams for Hondas require notching.

so these will work in the D16A6/SOHC ZC as well? It just doesn't confirm that on the site.

Are these "the usual" rough castings, same as Eagle, that come out of China + get finish machining any one of a dozen different places? I got a quote on a $10K buy in from Probe that pissed me off to no end in re: what they get sold for by other people retail.

If these are "the usual" then your price is more than fair, IMO. I hope you sell a ---- ton of them.

damn it craig! i have waited and waited for these!! and two weeks after i break down and buy eagles you get some in!!! oh well i guess good luck im sure you will sell a ---- ton of these!! ive allready posted links to a couple websites ;D

Joseph - I had a set of these evaluated by a local machin shop when I first started carrying them. They said they looked like an early Eagle rod.

lol.. if you only knew what you where talking about.... d16a1 have the same bore/stroke as a d16z6/a6 .... the old rods WOULD NOT fit down the cylinder.

ya I have a set of the old ones, they dont even go down the cylinders at all. I think I'm gonna try making them work for a LS.

I'd still like to try out a set of these ;)
