Think its worth it

Well, heres the delima. I am missing my honda as I see more roll around the island, and of all the cars Ive looked at for myself I want another honda. (this time I wanna go n/a though) then get something boosted (such as boosting the skyline, which is planned anyways). Anyways, Im finding ---- loads of B series auto civics/CRX's everywhere. Priced between $300-$2,000. EVERY DAM ONE A ------- AUTOMATIC. I have seen 2 manual HONDA's since ive been here, both NOT for sale. (to include integra's) So my question, buy the super cheap auto honda and do the conversion?

Now the other choice, ive come across a few 180sx's in decent shape with the SR20det 5spd, usally with some crazy suspension mods done, for around $1500-$2,000.

Which would you do? buy the honda, and do the conversion or hold out, and save a few more $$'s and get the 180?

If it's a EF or DA then get the auto and convert it to a 5spd otherwise ---- messing with the hydro conversion unless your got skillz like that. If I lived over thurr like you I'd still get a honda and ---- all that Nissan ----. Show them JDM mofo's how we turbo US folks turbo honda's!

I'd go with the 180sx...Honda this, Honda that, why not switch it up since you're over there, they'll be plenty Hondas waiting when you come back to the US in a few years.

But thats Japan man Im sure the japanese are like 180 this 180 that, especially the drifters. Try and find a middle school car like Lancer III or Lancer IV and put the rally package on it. ;)

My thoughts

Exactly, enjoy what you can't have over here. Eventually you might be able to buy a second car anyways, for $300. I would say, get something you can't get ever again when you move back.
