Spending $50 on a set of used injectors and getting a missing pintle cap isn't getting fucked. If you're so worried then nut up and spend some money. That's what you get for buying ass cheap/used parts. If it was CL. didn't you buy them in person and inspect them first?
And to answer your question; you can run them without pintles. Just make sure the seals fit snug. What should really concern you more is that you're about to stick some unknown mileage (90% chance super high mileage) injectors in your car without even having them tested. Then when you drop compression in a hole from running uber lean; you can consider that fucked. Your current definition of getting fucked is pretty ridiculous. They're used DSM injectors and you get what you pay for. Maybe if you paid $500 for them and they didn't cycle I'd consider it getting owned, but no matter what you can't get fucked over a $50 bill rofl.
