the e30 was only a four banger and the e46 is like 40 grand....i gotta work with what i got man.....but yea it looks like i'm keeping my bimmer until i get enough dough to buy a new one...i found out the hard way that if these aren't cared for from day one they are nothing but problems

damn in my highschool days, 10% of the senior class have cars and their were shitty cars. And nobody think about turboing because it was money and brains. must be nice to boost every morning to school.

my goal is to be able to own a newer m3 (not actually own one, but kill one on the street with ---- talking BMW freaks in it) they run what 13.6 in the 1/4? IDK i just hate stuck up 3 series owners that think they are the ----... yay you have a 318i

bro you gotta drive one....i thought exactly the same as you are....a honda with 7gs can blow a lot of things away...but is it going to be as comfortable? NO practical? NO handle any where near a bimmer? hell ------- NO-best of all you can rape a M3 everyday to work and if you just do the schedueled matinence you won't have to worry about blowing up your engine

im not sayint theyre not really nice (they are...) In my book creativity/originality wins over creature comfort and practicality (this is why people ride motorcycles), buying a car like that is nice but id rather build somthing than get it off the shelf, then pocket the $40k i saved. Ive driven them (non m3 but newer 3 series) and their handling is very nice, and theyre very comfortable and dead quiet. i think i hate the owners rather than the car, so having a turbo honda instead of paying out the ass for a newer bmw is more out of spite for their owners, meanwhile doing somthing people said cant be done (making the accord fast).

an m3 is one of my dream cars. bmw's are in my opinion some of the best cars out there and when you ride in them you don't hear any road noise or things rattling on the car like in many others. they are made solid. even though they weigh about 2 tons some of them can get up and go as well.
