high compression pistons are usually domed. Those look like regular flat top pistons. Low compression are usually dished.

o yeah and are these oem headbolts? or waht type HEADBOLTS :P

You could have had them stand up. Maybe you just damaged em doing that and they will snap later. I would pull the pan and inspect them to be sure what they are, doesn't really take much work for the reward.

You have to factor in other things too. I can't see someone building a turbo motor with high compression for any special reason......besides Jeff. :P

i figured out what headbolts those are, and no those arent the threads LMaO, theyre TY headbolts OEM honda torque to yeild headbolts. this engine came with a AEM cam gear, and a direct port nitrous kit (or most of it) tapped into the intake manifold, i think someone was building a high comp nitrous setup. and i didnt build this engine, im just using it, it'll be dynoing soon so watch out for that suckas :P

ahem, you did all by yourself Scott????
;D

jes ------ with ya man...

BUT, i did visit scott today, i just had to see this monstrosity of a D motor in person!

i came, i saw, we concoured. I also drank some beer and we got the car semi running decent again (at idle) for what the setup actualy is.

things i noticed:
-the head is likely milled (see below)
-the motor likely has a cam, it lopes like a mothersucker
-at 1000 rpms, and wont idle for CRap
-the head is super fresh with the valve cover off, someone took or was in the process of doing things right before scott aquired this motor..
-scott has shitty tiawaneese tools
-he makes some good microwave hot wings tho.. so i forgave him.

if you could only hear this thing...
and if it will only survive WED night!
