The 944 is one of the best handling Porsches ever made, really the only ones that outhandle them are the ones made after mid 90's. They have near 50 50 weight distro and could outhandle the 911's of the time

James, you can pick up 240/260/280z for a good price, i paid under 3k for mine and it had very little rust. Engine bay is massive, will fit anything, including BBC. Its lightwieght and has classic porsche styling. I know a guy who is the Z afficianado (i cant spell, ---- off) in this area, and I can get you his number if you want to go that route. its a GREAT platform with a 200mm rearend, and only minor mods to put a LSD in it :6 Btw, they dont suck on the turns. 2nd gen 300zx is a turd boat, 1st gen 300zx turbo is imho a better platform. If you want to go Rotary, Chris Howell (rowdy audi) and Russel (faster7) are rx7 gurus and chris is always willing to help. 2nd gen RX7s are reasonably priced... just might want to mention, LOUD as ----... Chris's rx7 w/ full exhaust muffled Rhonda when it had the open downpipe. If you wanna know how bad porsches suck, ask tim marsh. he had a 944. Personally, i say go classic Z car. You might also consider fox body, overplayed I kno, but its cheap and fast. Then theres always the Merkur if you wanted something different.

More importantly though, call me tomorrow. I got the 3 Bar in and I need you to tune for me :D I think you owe it to me since I'm trying xtra hard to convince my boss to hire you. :p

Well, I've wanted one ever since i first saw one. Has nothing to do w/ trends, although I thought your mom was the thing to be "in" now.
