Dipshit, I never said they didn't do ANYTHING. Learn to read, then come back and try to talk to me. I also don't give a ---- what parts you have on your car. :1 I also don't care to race down a mountain.

this, IMO would mean that you are saying that they dont do anything. In dam near every post that you have posted, you have been very 'anti suspension'.

/thread.

Who made you the suspension god?

All I ever said was I can't see them making THAT BIG OF A DIFFERENCE, meaning yes, they probably do make a difference, but not night and day like people are trying to say. Some peoples kids....

BOOST, seriously my god ------ ---- ----.

jk, im bored.
hey dude, seriously though, i installed some on my friends EF, drove it before then drove it after, it no ---- did make a very valid difference. Nothing like OMG, but you could Def. feel a difference in cornering etc. now end this thread and quit your bickering. I think the realization is that it does make a quite substantial difference here.

i can't see a front bar doing much improvement. you have 2 lower crossmembers, your bumper beam, your engine and trans, and the firewall that all run laterally across the car. if those 5 things dont keep the chassis from twisting nothing will aside from a FULL cage boxed into the strut towers.

now the rear will prob benefit from an upper one because of the obvious lack of lateral supports running across that cave in the back

think about what you just posted there about the front end.

you take a box. you brace the bottom, tie the middle together and leave the top open. move that box around and what happens. the top flexes like a bitch. same thing. remeber, engine mounts arent solid, really, saying an engine is a brace isnt really logical unless that ****** is bolted straight to the chassis.

the fire wall runs from top to bottom, side to side and sits ~6-8" from teh towers, if that isnt support IDK what is. i can see what you are saying about the engine.

you also gotta look at how close the frame rails are to the tops of the towers, its not that far

I'd love to have the chance to learn this.

The only strut bars I've had was a rear lower in a DA integra and I thought that made a diff w/the stock suspention. The other bar I made that bolted to the top rear struts of a 90 civic std with the stock suspention, I know that made a difference but w/an economy car, pretty much anything will make a difference.

A lot depends on the car's current suspention and if the bar is good (not the ones all over ebay), pre-loading the bar if possible can also make a difference.
