when these bikes first came out they referred to 1000+cc bikes as "superbikes", but the definition changed shorty after.
i can tell you because i've raced them, late 90s 600cc are about the same, IF they are perfectly in their powerband. the new 600s are faster.
the fj1100 and fj1200 are pretty damn fast

RS what did you end up paying for it?
Around here the stealerships only have 2006+ sportbikes, and those run around 7 grand or more.
Those have torquier v-twins don't they? Look pretty lame in the front compared to the angry looking imports, but its still a good looking bike.
And yeah, nice front brake :P balla

well...all this talk of bikes, I might be trading my $500 integra for this piece:
94 suzuki gsx 600
Not too fond of the wheels but some paint will fix that. Only has 12k miles, seem like a good deal?
Not quite the power of this buell but the current owner says he's scared of it and needs a car for his gf.
