All i can say is people that say they should get a week are stupid. Monster Garage and Monster House give a week because, well they are doing things that arent necessarily done every day. To make a civic as fast as possible is basically done on a daily basis. a majority of us could name some sort of setup that would put a civic or even a talon in the low 12s. So basically there is no challenge in picking parts, the challenge is getting the car done in 36 hours.

Secondly, to think these cars never hit the dyno or had some sort of street tuning would just not be logical. A turbo charged vehicle with all new parts and not to actually tune it would make very little sense. Basically the girl had the car for blank amount of days between the build and the race so after she broke in her engine, tuned, and whatever else she had to do, she could have went to a low traffic street or a parking lot and worked on her launches and such. Basically i doubt they built the cars, next day ran em. b/c i dont see how her car would have been broken in in less than 24 hours.

There are lots of points you guys are neglecting to see. Basically i dont think either driver were amazing. The AWD had an advantage over the honda b/c it was an 1/8 of a mile, plain and simple. Also the builders of the honda were silly. B16a, com'on. Also it looked like they were using an Apexi Log mani w/ a deltagate....

All in all i think the honda had a lot more work put into it, sadly all that work was put into the wrong engine. $3500 for a B16........wow.

lol I edited that post as soon as I posted it way before this so want to tell me what they say or do I have to call in CSI to blow it up to a readable size?

no comment on the 1/8 track?

Also I don't know what your problem is so get off your high horse. All I said was (putting money and type cars or whatever gay arguement you want to make aside) that for people to call a 12 second car slow is rediculous.

I don't know what your problem is or what your trying to prove so I'm ending this now. I ran a 12.9 @ 113mph on street and stock clutch thats why the MPH is so high for a 12.9. But according to you thats fast as hell. Since you never said anything about your car I'm guessing your not in the 12's. But this is the internet so say whatever.

Wow you found an 1/8 mile track thats 2 hours away. What do you want me to say?

Don't reply back becuase this topic will get locked

That show pissed me off. First the dick who worked on the honda dissed the D engines and then the honda lost to talon which I thought should have won. She didn't know how to drive her new built car(which had so many sponsors and look like alot of work was put into it) and they only ran 1/8 of a mile. Of course the talon is going to win its awd its going to have a better launch and traction then the honda. And whats up with the chick posting pic of whats she did to her car right before the race?
