Storing a vehicle...

Story:
Well, my wife and I are having problems selling our isuzu trooper. Its been run on egay twice, and right now, its in the local auto trader magazine, and no one seems to want the thing. I think the miles scare the people away. No one has even called about it. :-\
We leave in 2 weeks...and the way it looks, we arent gonna sell it. (its been for sale for almost 2 months now) The military will pay to store the vehicle, which will work in our favor....

point to the story
has anyone stored a vehicle before for a long period of time? what should I do? put it on blocks, drain the gas tank, put mice repellent around it....any tips from anyone???
we are gonna store it inside. thats about all we have goin right now...

make sure the gas tank is full, since then it wont sweat inside and rust

only thing i can think of is d/c the battery.. other than that, maybe a few mice/spider/bug traps inside of it just in case

disconnect the battery, put it on jack stands (but not lifted) incase the tires go flat, full tank of gas to prevent rust, and there are some additives for the other fluids. Other than that some mouse killer couldn't hurt.

we owe $2560 on it. I will let it go for $2,000. if anyone knows, the 4x4 alone, in the corn belt is worth $2g alone.

plug the exhaust pipes, one summer i noticed a funny smell and with some investigating a mouse seemed to have been living in the pipes
